Nikki P., born in 1986 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised in Benton Harbor, began her writing journey early in life. Her talent was recognized in the fourth grade when she was nominated for the Young Black Authors Award — a moment that would spark a lifelong love for storytelling.

In 2013, she self-published her debut novel, Cost to Be Boss, introducing readers to her bold voice and authentic streetwise narratives. She followed it up with the gripping sequel, Cost to Be the Boss II: The Reup. After taking a brief hiatus, Nikki P. returned with a vengeance, releasing Envy, which quickly became one of her best sellers.

Determined to keep her creative spark alive, she later released a previously unreleased novel, Diamonds Are Forever, in 2022 — further cementing her place as a voice to watch in urban fiction. In addition to adult fiction, Nikki P. also co-authored a children’s book titled Danny and the Loose Tooth with her daughter, Heaven Pargo, highlighting her versatility as a writer and love for family.

Nikki P. continues to write and publish with a dream of joining the ranks of her favorite authors: Tiffany D. Jackson, KiKi Swinson, T. Styles, and JaQuavis Coleman. Her mission is clear — to inspire, entertain, and leave a lasting mark on readers one page at a time.
